Writing Challenge Term 3, Week 9

This week we are learning how to write Persuasive texts. Below is a poster to remind you of the structure you should follow when writing to persuade someone of your opinion. Then there is also an example of someone trying to convince you why you should eat breakfast. If you get stuck you can have a look at their example to see what kind of language features they use and how they structure their writing.

This month is Bee Month which aims to highlight the importance of bees in our environment. Click on the link and read one of articles about bees then answer the following questions. Remember to label your questions correctly and write in full sentences. If you complete the activity following the instructions you can earn 2 Class Dojo points.

1. List the name, main idea and some supporting details about the article you read.

2. Include a definition of one of the key words from your article.

3. Share what you think about the article you read and say why you think this.
