  2. Do not throw your rubbish on the beach. Recycle your plastic bags or put them in the right rubbish bin. Make sure your oil tank is not leaking on your boat otherwise it will pollute the sea. Make sure you wash your car on the grass when using chemicals, otherwise it will go into your storm water drain that goes out to sea. George

    1. You are the first person to complete the homework challenge this week, George. The information you listed is definitely important if we want to look after the oceans. Good job! Mr Janse

  4. Help to keep beaches rubbish-free the way they should be. To do this clean up other peoples rubbish when EVER you see it. My dad and I found a site that you can get some information from. Here it is.http://www.loveyourcoast.org

  5. We can help the sea/ocean by telling people not to litter the sea/ocean. We can also tell people to stop global warming because it's melting the ice caps.

  6. To be guardians of the sea we need to
    - pick up after our self
    - take any litter that you see
    - leave anything that belongs at the beach eg: leave the crabs in the rock pools
    - take the right size fish, crayfish and scallops so the babies can breed.

  7. To help the sea be careful with boats because they have oil and oil from boats can kill the sea creatures. And litter and rubbish bags can also be like oil and kill sea creatures because turtles think rubbish bags are jelly fish so we are killing a lot of turtles such as leatherback turtles which are endangered! Since it's sea week you should go to the beach and ocean and look around to see if there is any aluminium, plastic, soft plastic and plastic bags and put them in the correct bins because you don't want plastic bags to go out into the recycling bin.
